Photosensitive Resin Material

Photosensitive Resin Material

Cat No:RPT-0001

Description

Photopolymer resin materials are 3D printing materials specifically designed for SLA rapid prototyping. These resin materials undergo rapid cross-linking reactions when exposed to ultraviolet light of specific wavelengths and intensities (laser wavelength in the ultraviolet range, λ=325nm), ultimately forming solid structures.

Introduction

Photosensitive resin materials are 3D printing materials specifically designed for SLA rapid prototyping. SLA (Stereolithography Apparatus) 3D printing, also known as selective curing of liquid photosensitive resin, is commonly referred to as photopolymerization molding. SLA technology is based on the photopolymerization principle of liquid photosensitive resin. This resin material undergoes a rapid cross-linking reaction under irradiation of ultraviolet light of a certain wavelength and intensity (laser wavelength is in the ultraviolet band, λ=325nm) to form a solid. Photosensitive resins used in SLA are generally liquid photosensitive resins, such as photosensitive epoxy resins, photosensitive vinyl ethers, photosensitive epoxy acrylates, and photosensitive acrylic resins. Photosensitive resins consist of two main parts: a photoinitiator and a resin (the resin is composed of a prepolymer, a diluent, and a small amount of additives). When the photoinitiator is irradiated with ultraviolet light of a certain wavelength (300nm-400nm), it absorbs light energy, changes from the ground state to the excited state, and then generates active free radicals, initiating the polymerization and curing reaction of the prepolymer and active monomer. The diluent mainly acts as a diluent, ensuring that the photosensitive resin has sufficient fluidity at room temperature so that it can flow evenly before the next layer is created.
