Description

1,3-Cyclohexyldimethylammonium Diiodide is the iodide analog of 1,3-cyclohexyldimethylammonium dibromide, carrying two protonated aminomethyl groups on a 1,3-cyclohexylene framework neutralized by two iodide anions. It is listed as a perovskite precursor material and is purified through four cycles to at least 99.5% purity. The salt is soluble in most organic solvents and shows hygroscopic, air-sensitive and light-sensitive behavior; storage requires protection from light at room temperature under argon.
