Cat No:BME-0110
2-(2,2,2-Trifluoroethoxy)-1,3,2-dioxaphospholane 2-Oxide, commonly abbreviated TFEP, is a cyclic phosphate in which a five-membered dioxaphospholane ring carries a trifluoroethoxy substituent. Its P-F releasing chemistry upon reduction makes TFEP an effective flame-retardant and film-forming additive for lithium battery electrolytes, improving both the safety profile and the interfacial stability of graphite anodes. Eata Battery supplies this electrolyte additive at >=95% (NMR) purity with cold-chain storage.
