Description

2-Thiopheneethylammonium iodide (2-ThEAI) extends the thiophene ammonium family with an ethylene spacer between the heteroaromatic ring and the ammonium iodide group. Supplied at >=99.5% purity after four purification cycles, it functions as a perovskite precursor where the added chain length influences layer spacing in halide perovskite structures.
