Cat No:BMSPEM-0206
4-Fluorophenylethylammonium trifluoroacetate (p-F-PEATFA) is the fluorinated analogue of phenylethylammonium trifluoroacetate, carrying a para-fluoro substituent on the aromatic ring of the 2-phenylethylammonium cation. Ring fluorination raises the hydrophobicity and dipole moment of the aromatic spacer, a modification applied in perovskite precursor chemistry to influence film growth and moisture tolerance. Refined through four purification cycles to >=98%, the salt dissolves in most organic solvents and is stored at room temperature under argon as a moisture-, air- and light-sensitive solid.
