Cat No:BMSPEM-0167
4-tert-Butylphenylammonium bromide is the hydrobromide of 4-tert-butylaniline, joining a rigid tert-butyl substituted phenyl ring to an ammonium head group that enters halide perovskite lattices as a bulky aromatic cation. It is refined through four purification cycles to >=99% and is applied as a perovskite precursor where steric bulk steers dimensionality, film morphology and moisture tolerance. The salt dissolves in DMF and DMSO, which keeps it compatible with solution-processed precursor formulations, and it ships as a light-protected, argon-packed solid that is sensitive to moisture, air and light.
