Butanammonium Formate (BAFA)

Cat No:BMSPEM-0222

Description

Butanammonium Formate (BAFA) is the formate salt of butan-1-amine, an aliphatic ammonium compound in which a straight four-carbon alkylammonium cation is paired with a formate anion. The salt is prepared at a purity of at least 99.5% through four purification cycles. It is soluble in most organic solvents and shows hygroscopic, air-sensitive and light-sensitive behavior, so it is kept protected from light at room temperature under argon. Eata Battery supplies it in 250 mg and 1 g units.
