Cat No:BMSPEM-0119
Butylammonium bromide (BABr) is among the most frequently used organic spacer cations in two-dimensional and quasi-2D halide perovskites, appearing in studies of photoluminescence, X-ray detection, light-emitting diodes and photodetectors. The butylammonium cation separates the inorganic slabs, raising exciton binding energy and improving environmental robustness while keeping solution processability. Supplied at >=99.5% purity after four purification passes, the salt is highly soluble in ethanol, DMF, DMSO and water and is stored under argon away from light.
