These CR2016 button cell cases from Eata Battery are made of 316 stainless steel with a sealing O-ring, size 20 mm diameter x 1.6 mm thickness, supplied at 100 sets per bag. Compared with 304 stainless steel, the main chemical composition difference of 316 stainless steel is the addition of molybdenum (Mo), which is generally accepted to provide better corrosion resistance, particularly under high-temperature environments, making these cases well suited for cells with corrosive electrolyte systems.
