Description

Cyclohexylammonium iodide is the hydroiodide of cyclohexylamine and completes the cyclic ammonium series that runs from the cyclopropyl to the cyclohexyl ring. Its chair-conformation cation presents a bulky, hydrophobic organic layer to the iodide perovskite framework, which helps suppress ion migration and stabilise low-dimensional phases against moisture. The salt is refined through four purification passes to >=99.5% and stored under argon with protection from light.
