Cat No:BMSPEM-0116
Cyclopropanammonium bromide (CyPABr) is the hydrobromide of cyclopropylamine, combining a compact three-membered ring with a primary ammonium head group. The rigid, strained ring occupies a smaller footprint than an equivalent alkyl chain while still separating inorganic slabs, which makes it attractive when tuning the interlayer spacing of bromide-based halide perovskites. It is delivered at >=99.5% purity after four purification passes, dissolves in DMF and DMSO, and is stored under argon away from light because it degrades with moisture, air and light exposure.
