Cat No:BMSPEM-0179
Dimethylammonium lead iodide (NH2(CH3)2PbI3, DMAPbI3) is a hybrid lead iodide perovskite in which the dimethylammonium cation replaces the smaller methylammonium ion. The extra methyl group distorts the lead iodide framework and lowers the effective dimensionality, making the compound a useful reference point for structure-property studies on cation size effects. Supplied at >=99%, it dissolves in most organic solvents and is handled in the dark under argon because it is sensitive to moisture, air and light.
