Cat No:BMSPEM-0042

Description

Dipropylamine hydrobromide is the bromide analogue in the short-chain dialkylammonium series, sitting between the dimethyl and dibutyl members in both size and hydrophobicity. That intermediate position makes it a natural control when a formulation team is walking a homologous series to see where film quality and device efficiency peak. As a salt it is far easier to store and dispense than the parent amine, and it decomposes only above 268°C, so it survives the thermal budgets used in most perovskite annealing steps. The material picks up water readily, so argon-blanketed vials are advised. Minimum assay is 98%.
