Cat No:BMSPEM-0192
Dodecylammonium lead bromide ((C12H25NH3)2PbBr4, (DDA)2PbBr4) is a layered lead bromide perovskite whose twelve-carbon ammonium bilayers create very large interlayer separations. Compounds of this type are employed as perovskite precursors when maximal organic spacing, reduced interlayer coupling or hydrophobic surface passivation is required. Supplied at >=99%, the powder dissolves in DMF and DMSO and is kept protected from light at room temperature under argon because it is sensitive to moisture, air and light.
