Cat No:BMSPEM-0185
Ethylammonium lead bromide (CH3CH2NH3PbBr3, EAPbBr3) is the bromide analogue of the ethylammonium lead iodide perovskite, supplied at >=99%. Exchanging iodide for bromide widens the band gap and shifts emission towards the green-blue region, which is why bromide-rich compositions are explored for light-emitting diodes and photodetectors. The powder dissolves in DMF and DMSO for solution processing and is stored in the dark under argon because it is sensitive to light, air and moisture.
