Cat No:BMSPEM-0189
Hexylammonium lead bromide ((C6H13NH3)2PbBr4, (HA)2PbBr4) is the bromide member of the layered hexylammonium lead halide perovskite series, supplied at >=99%. Exchanging iodide for bromide widens the band gap of the inorganic sheets while the hexylammonium bilayers keep the Ruddlesden-Popper architecture, which makes the compound a useful point of comparison within the alkylammonium lead halide family. It is stored protected from light at room temperature under argon because the powder is sensitive to moisture, air and light.
