Cat No:BMSPEM-0114
iso-Propylammonium bromide (i-PABr) is the branched isomer of propylammonium bromide, in which the ammonium group sits on the secondary carbon. That geometry changes how the cation packs inside the perovskite lattice, which makes it a useful comparison point when screening spacer cations for mixed cation or anion absorbers aimed at higher bandgap and carrier-diffusion performance. The salt is purified through four passes to >=99.5%, dissolves in DMF and DMSO, and is handled as a moisture-, air- and light-sensitive solid under argon.
