Description

This lithium metal foil from Eata Battery is the widest of the 0.1 mm foil series, supplied as a 70 mm wide, 0.1 mm thick strip for lithium-metal anode preparation and larger-format cell research. Material properties: molecular formula Li; formula weight 6.94; silvery white surface; tasteless; melting point 180.5 C; density 0.534 g/cc; and pH above 12 in 1 % solution at 25 C. Purity Li > 99.9 % with impurities of K 0.0005, Na 0.001, Ca 0.003, Fe 0.0005, Si 0.0005, N 0.004, Al 0.0004, Ni 0.003, Cu 0.0004, Mg 0.0005 and Cl 0.001 (wt). Dimensional test result: width 70.01-70.02 mm against a 70 mm standard with +/- 0.2 mm tolerance, and thickness 0.102-0.109 mm against 0.1 mm with +/- 0.01 mm tolerance.
