This lithium metal foil from Eata Battery is the thickest gauge of the foil series, supplied as a 60 mm wide, 1.0 mm thick strip that carries the highest lithium inventory per unit area for lithium-metal and anode-free cell research. Material properties: molecular formula Li; formula weight 6.94; silvery white surface; tasteless; melting point 180.5 C; density 0.534 g/cc; and pH above 12 in 1 % solution at 25 C. Purity Li > 99.9 % with impurities of K 0.0005, Na 0.001, Ca 0.003, Fe 0.0005, Si 0.0005, N 0.004, Al 0.0004, Ni 0.003, Cu 0.0004, Mg 0.0005 and Cl 0.001 (wt). Width and thickness are held to the series tolerances of +/- 0.2 mm on width and +/- 0.01 mm on thickness.
