Cat No:BMSPEM-0100
Methylammonium bromide (MABr) is the canonical small A-site cation salt of bromide perovskite chemistry. Iodide and bromide salts of alkylated halides are used to produce perovskites for solar photovoltaic panels: MABr is the precursor for methylammonium lead bromide (MAPbBr3) perovskites with strong green emission and photoluminescence, and the resulting materials are built into alternative energy devices such as light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and perovskite solar cells (PSCs). The high-purity salt melts at 250 C and is highly soluble in ethanol, DMF, DMSO and water.
