Cat No:BMSPEM-0172
Methylammonium lead chloride bromide (CH3NH3PbBrCl2, MAPbBrCl2) is the chloride-rich member of the mixed halide methylammonium lead halide family, offered at >=99%. The high chloride fraction widens the band gap, which makes the material attractive for wide-band-gap absorbers in tandem solar cells and for systematic halide-substitution studies. It dissolves in DMF and DMSO and is processed like the iodide-rich analogues, with storage in the dark under argon because the solid is moisture-, air- and light-sensitive.
