Cat No:BMSPEM-0384
The manganese dioxide (MnO2) cathode electrode from Eata Battery is a customizable positive electrode designed for zinc-manganese battery systems and manganese-based electrochemical research, including primary batteries and aqueous energy storage. The electrode uses manganese dioxide as the active material on a stainless steel mesh current collector with a uniformly coated MnO2 layer, providing stable electron transport and good adhesion. It is offered as sheets (90 x 76.5 mm, 25 x (25 + 10) mm and 20 x (20 + 10) mm) and small pieces at 48 or 24 mg/cm2, single-side coin cell discs at 24 or 12 mg/cm2, and single-side large sheets of 90 x 76.5 mm at 24 or 12 mg/cm2. Typical electrode specifications include a thickness of 0.24 +/- 0.01 mm, an areal density of 24 +/- 1 mg/cm2, an electrolyte uptake of 0.55 +/- 0.05 g/g after soaking in 2 M ZnSO4 for 24 h, a cell capacity of 400 +/- 50 mAh at 0.73 mA/cm2 discharge, and a specific capacity of 220 +/- 20 mAh/g (typically up to 200 mAh/g).
