Cat No:BMSPEM-0200
N,N-Dimethyl-1,3-propanediammonium dichloride (DMePDADCl) is the dihydrochloride of N,N-dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine, a diammonium salt carrying one terminal ammonium and one dimethylammonium group separated by a three-carbon chain. The asymmetric diammonium design is used as a perovskite precursor where a mixed primary/tertiary ammonium spacer influences the formation of low-dimensional halide perovskite phases. Refined through four purification cycles to >=99.5%, the salt dissolves in most organic solvents and is stored protected from light at room temperature under argon as a moisture-, air- and light-sensitive solid.
