Cat No:BMSPEM-0191
Octylammonium lead bromide ((C8H17NH3)2PbBr4, (OA)2PbBr4) is the bromide counterpart of octylammonium lead iodide, supplied at >=99%. The octylammonium bilayers separate lead bromide octahedral sheets, and the combination of a long alkyl chain with the wider-gap bromide lattice makes the compound a reference point for layered lead bromide perovskite work. It dissolves in DMF and DMSO and is stored at room temperature under argon because the solid is sensitive to moisture, air and light.
