Cat No:BMSPEM-0202
Octylammonium methyl sulfonate (OAMSA) is an alkylammonium organosulfonate in which an eight-carbon ammonium cation is paired with a methanesulfonate anion. Replacing halide counterions with sulfonate groups is a perovskite precursor strategy used to passivate buried interfaces and adjust the defect chemistry of halide perovskite films. The compound is refined through four purification cycles to >=98%, dissolves in most organic solvents, and is stored protected from light at room temperature under argon as a moisture-, air- and light-sensitive solid.
