Description

Oleylammonium bromide (OAmBr) is the hydrobromide of oleylamine, an eighteen-carbon chain with a single cis double bond at the 9-position. The long, kinked chain behaves as a soft, flexible spacer and is a standard ligand for colloidal perovskite and metal-halide nanocrystals, where it controls surface passivation, solubility and self-assembly. It dissolves readily in ethanol, DMF and DMSO and is supplied at >=99% purity after four purification passes, packaged under argon and protected from light, moisture and air.
