Cat No:BMSPEM-0205
Phenylethylammonium trifluoroacetate (PEATFA) is the trifluoroacetate salt of 2-phenylethylamine, combining a bulky aromatic ammonium cation with a strongly electron-withdrawing perfluoroalkyl carboxylate anion. The combination is used as a perovskite precursor when volatile organic anion chemistry is exploited during film formation. The compound is refined through four purification cycles to >=98%, dissolves in most organic solvents, and is stored at room temperature under argon as a moisture-, air- and light-sensitive solid.
