Cat No:BMSPEM-0183
Phenylmethylammonium lead iodide ((C6H5CH2NH3)2PbI4, PMA2PbI4) is a two-dimensional layered perovskite built from benzylammonium spacers and inorganic lead iodide slabs. The aromatic ring of the spacer introduces pi interactions between the organic layers, which helps stabilise the layered structure and is exploited in 2D perovskite optoelectronics. The material is supplied at >=99%, dissolves in DMF and DMSO, and is handled in the dark under argon as a moisture-, air- and light-sensitive powder.
