Description

This 40 um polypropylene separator paper from Eata Battery is the thickest grade of the PP separator series, suited to cells requiring enhanced mechanical padding and puncture margin. Specifications: thickness 40 um; air permeability 780 sec/100ml; porosity 43 %; tensile strength MD > 1200 kg/cm2 and TD > 130 kg/cm2; puncture strength > 450 g; thermal contraction at 90 C for 1 h MD <= 2.5 % and TD <= 0.5 %, at 105 C for 1 h MD <= 4 % and TD <= 1 %; shutdown (obturator) temperature 153 C.
