Cat No:BMSPEM-0112
Propylammonium bromide (PABr) pairs the n-propylammonium cation with bromide and is widely used to build mixed cation or anion perovskites whose bandgap, carrier diffusion length and power conversion efficiency are being optimised for solar cells. The three-carbon chain is long enough to template layered, Ruddlesden-Popper-type structures while still keeping the inorganic sheets electronically coupled. Supplied at >=99.5% purity after four purification passes, the salt melts at 182 C, dissolves readily in ethanol, DMF, DMSO and water, and is packed under argon with light protection.
