Description

Propylammonium chloride (PACl), the hydrochloride of n-propylamine, extends the alkylammonium series by one methylene group and is used to adjust the dimensionality and dielectric confinement of layered halide perovskites. It has also been employed to study the liquid chromatographic behaviour of potassium-sparing diuretics. The salt reaches >=99.5% purity after four purification passes, melts at 160-162 C and shows high solubility in DMF, DMSO and water, so it can be dosed directly into standard perovskite precursor inks.
