Cat No:BMSPEM-0195
s-Poly-TPD is the sec-butyl-substituted variant of polytriarylamine, a semiconducting polymer in which triarylamine repeat units carry a 4-sec-butylphenyl pendant group. The alkyl substituent improves solubility and processability of the conjugated polytriarylamine backbone without disrupting its electronic structure. The polymer is characterised by a number-average molecular weight below 20,000, dissolves in chloroform, THF, toluene and chlorobenzene for solution processing, and is stored at room temperature under argon.
