Vapor Grown Carbon Fiber (VGCF) Conductive Additive for Batteries (150 nm Diameter, 6 um Length)

Cat No:BMSPEM-0550

Description

This vapor grown carbon fiber (VGCF) from Eata Battery is a fibrous conductive additive for battery electrodes. Specifications: average fiber diameter 150 nm; average fiber length 6 um; true density 2.19 g/cm3; specific surface area 13 m2/g; specific resistance 0.1 mohm-cm; and carbon content above 99.95 wt%. The high-aspect-ratio fiber builds long-range conductive pathways at low loading; in NMC cathode slurries it is typically blended at about 1 wt% together with conventional conductive carbon black and PVDF binder to raise electrode conductivity while reducing total additive content.
