Description

This PTFE and carbon composite membrane from Eata Battery serves as the hydrophobic layer and gas diffusion layer of zinc-air batteries and fuel cells, performing two roles: it is waterproof and leak-proof, preventing electrolyte seepage or blockage of air passages, and it is breathable, allowing air or oxygen to enter the catalytic layer continuously. Specifications: material PTFE + carbon; thickness 0.3 +/- 0.05 mm; breathability 30-40 ml/cm2/min under 7 kPa; density 0.75 +/- 0.05 g/cm3; porosity 20-25 %; bend radius 1 cm; strength transverse > 0.8 MPa and longitudinal > 8 MPa; elongation at break transverse > 100 % and longitudinal > 20 %. Laminated with the cathode catalytic material and current collecting layer, it achieves an improved leak-proof effect.
