Cube Beamsplitters consist of two right-angle prisms cemented together with a partially reflective coating applied to the internal interface. This design enables incident light to be split into reflected and transmitted beams at a defined ratio while maintaining precise beam alignment. Compared with plate beamsplitters, cube beamsplitters offer improved mechanical stability and reduced beam displacement, making them ideal for compact and alignment-sensitive optical systems.
