Deep ultraviolet (UV) optical fiber

Deep ultraviolet (UV) optical fiber

Cat No:QSF-0001

Description

Deep ultraviolet (DUV) optical fiber is a type of high-purity silica fiber specifically designed for optical transmission in the 200–300 nm (and some down to 180 nm) wavelength range. This type of fiber typically uses fused silica with a high OH (hydroxyl) content as its core material to reduce absorption and photoattenuation in the deep ultraviolet band, making it suitable for stable coupling and transmission of high-energy ultraviolet light sources.

Applications

Application Suitable for transmission in the deep ultraviolet to visible light band.
