Description

The high-absorption erbium-doped fiber (EDF) allows for shorter fiber lengths, reducing fiber nonlinear effects. It is primarily used in 1.5 μm fiber amplifiers and fiber lasers. This fiber can be pumped at 980 nm or 1480 nm, provides low splice loss, and ensures high uniformity.
