Description

The L-band erbium-doped fiber (EDF) is optimized for L-band single-channel and multi-channel fiber amplifiers, ASE sources, metro networks, CATV, and DWDM EDFAs. Its high doping concentration reduces the required fiber length, minimizing fiber nonlinear effects. This fiber can be pumped at 980 nm or 1480 nm, offers low connection loss with standard communication fibers, and provides high uniformity.
