The double-clad polarization-maintaining ytterbium-doped fiber is designed for ultrashort-pulse fiber laser seeds and amplifiers, as well as high-power narrow-linewidth fiber lasers and amplifiers. It features single-mode transmission, high polarization extinction ratio, low bending loss, low photodarkening, and high slope efficiency. These fibers are suitable for medical applications and industrial material processing.
