Basic Information

Detailed Description The gas sensor uses a semiconductor material with low conductivity in clean air. When alcohol vapor is present in the sensor's environment, the sensor's conductivity increases with the concentration of alcohol gas in the air. A simple circuit can convert this change in conductivity into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration.
Main Applications Suitable for portable alcohol detectors and automotive ignition systems, etc.
