Basic Information

Detailed Description The alcohol gas sensor uses tin dioxide (SnO2), a gas-sensitive material with low conductivity in clean air. When alcohol vapor is present in the sensor's environment, the sensor's conductivity increases with increasing alcohol concentration. A simple circuit converts this conductivity change into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration. The MQ-3B semiconductor alcohol sensor is highly sensitive to alcohol and resistant to interference from gasoline, smoke, and water vapor. This gas sensor can detect various alcohol concentrations and is a low-cost sensor suitable for a wide range of applications.
Main Applications Widely applicable to vehicle alcohol gas detectors, industrial alcohol gas detectors, and portable gas detectors.
