| Detailed Description | The carbon monoxide gas sensor uses tin dioxide (SnO2), a gas-sensitive material with low conductivity in clean air. It employs a high-low temperature cycling detection method: low-temperature (1.5V heating) detection of carbon monoxide shows that the sensor's conductivity increases with increasing carbon monoxide concentration in the air; high-temperature (5.0V heating) cleaning removes stray gases adsorbed during the low-temperature process. A simple circuit converts the change in conductivity into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration. The MQ-7B carbon monoxide gas sensor has high sensitivity to carbon monoxide and can detect various carbon monoxide-containing gases, making it a low-cost sensor suitable for a wide range of applications. |
