Cat No: BSS-LJX-0001 Datasheet
Product Name: Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System
Quantities: - +
| Detailed Description | The CGM system uses a miniature electrochemical sensor inserted under the skin to detect the glucose concentration in the interstitial fluid based on the electrical signal generated by the electrochemical reaction catalyzed by glucose oxidase. An algorithm converts this signal into a blood glucose reading, which is then transmitted by a transmitter to a wireless receiver. The CGM system typically measures blood glucose levels every 3-5 minutes, allowing patients to comprehensively understand their 24-hour blood glucose fluctuations. |
| Applications | Outside the hospital In the hospital |
| Features | Continuous Monitoring: It measures blood glucose levels every 3-5 minutes, allowing patients to comprehensively understand their 24-hour blood glucose fluctuations. Real-Time Data Transmission: It features a transmitter that sends the glucose readings to a wireless receiver, enabling convenient data access. |
