Basic Information

Detailed Description The MEMS ammonia gas sensor utilizes a Si-based micro-hotplate based on MEMS technology and a metal-oxide-semiconductor material with low conductivity in clean air. When the detected gas is present in the ambient air, the sensor's conductivity changes; the higher the concentration of the gas, the higher the sensor's conductivity. A simple circuit can convert this conductivity change into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration.
Main Applications Widely applicable to detection of gas leaks in refrigerators, ammonia leaks in cold storage, and ventilation control in agriculture and animal husbandry.
