Basic Information

Detailed Description The MEMS carbon monoxide gas sensor utilizes MEMS technology to fabricate a micro-hotplate on a Si substrate. The gas-sensitive material used is a metal-oxide-semiconductor (MODS) material with low conductivity in clean air. When the detected gas is present in the ambient air, the sensor's conductivity changes; the higher the concentration of the gas, the higher the sensor's conductivity. A simple circuit can convert this conductivity change into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration.
Main Applications Household carbon monoxide gas leak alarms, industrial carbon monoxide gas alarms, and portable carbon monoxide gas detectors, etc.
